He looked at his book and told me that because I was late my appointment was cancelled. I told him my name, apologized for being a few minutes late, and explained that I had an appointment. Upon arrival, after several minutes of standing and waiting for someone to assist me at the front desk, a young man came to the desk. I figured that It would be fine, I was due to arrive no more than 5-6 minutes behind schedule, and I had an appointment. On my way in, I ran into a little extra traffic on the way over, I tried to call ahead, not once, but 3 times to let them know I would be a few minutes late - no answer all three times. I called ahead and made an appointment to have a pedicure done after work, and confirmed it with the individual at the desk. I decided to give this place a try after seeing so many positive reviews. However, I just had the most unacceptable experience at this place of business, and wanted to be sure that anyone else who has a busy schedule and expects to be treated with common courtesy knows to avoid this salon. I'm not someone who usually takes the time to leave a negative review - I've spent years in customer service and understand that things happen. I would NOT reccommend Deja Vu Nail & Spa located in clarksburg for a variety of reasons. Management needs to make sure all guests are taken care of in a timely manner. (It was already established that I did) 20 minutes later another gentleman walks over, and I refuse the service. I ask the gentleman how long it will take until I'm helped and he asks around the shop and comes back and asks me if I had an appointment. Another customer walks in with a 4:30 appointment and is told to pick a color and is immediately assisted. 30 minutes later I still haven't been helped. I arrived, told the SAME gentleman the name and what I wanted done and he told me to pick a color. Second occasion, I had an appointment for 4:00pm. 30 minutes later I ask the gentleman at the front desk how long it should take and he lets me know there isn't an opening until 5:30 (which was 2 hours away) The first time was a walk in, I was told to pick my color and wait. I have came here twice on two separate occasions and have not been helped by any associate. This salon is a great facility, however the professionalism and the management is not so great.
